We are Michael and Shannon, two twenty-somethings on a quest for amazing travel experiences and great food at home and abroad. While our hearts and pocketbooks don’t always see eye-to-eye, when we can’t jet around the world, we manage to entertain ourselves in and around home in Southeast Florida. Unfortunately, we’re not travel writers and photographers, and are subject to the parameters of work and being responsible adults (sigh). But there’s always that craving to get away which we aim to satisfy as often as possible.
Alas, we’ve been fortunate enough to have seen some amazing places in the last several years and anticipate many, many more excursions in those ahead. Armed with a sweet Nikon DX40, budding photography skills, and a desire to capture the moment, we’ll be bringing you National Geographic quality pictures to accompany the NY Times-worthy material you’ll be greeted with on our site. Well… perhaps not that good, but we hope you’ll be entertained at the very least, and inspired to take a vacation as well. And with that, we more than welcome suggestions and advice, tips on locations and places we should visit and fun things to do.
